Great little walk, if it is sunny there is nice coverage with trees. Listen to the water run and awesome that pets are allowed. Not super challenging but I very nice place to clear your head.

An unexpected gem! This park was clean and quiet. With the river running through it, it’ll be a great addition to beat the heat come summertime. There are paved and dirt trails that are very easy to follow. Also seems to be an abundance of bikers in this area too

My kids and I loved exploring this beautiful area. The trails are very well maintained. The water is so peaceful. We are excited to go back and explore more of the area.

Nice mixture of different trail levels. Some are paved and others dirt. Lots of site sees with the river. There is maps, trail markers doggy stations, benches and water fountains for you and your doggy. Great place to take the whole family!

Easy 10/10 place to recreate and probably the best natural area in SA. Excellent for birding, kayaking, fishing, hiking, biking and basically every outdoor activity. The park is well-maintained with an abundance of wildlife and the volunteers are very nice. Trails are well-marked and easy to navigate with varying difficulty levels. Overnight camping is also offered here which is always a plus. Only cons are the unfortunate road noise that is present throughout most of the park, there also is litter in some places, especially near the river but overall that doesn't detract from the experience which is why this gets 5 stars from me.

Hidden Gem. First time ever here. Originally from San Antonio & I never knew this was here. Trails are mixture of pavement and dirt. Will definitely come back. July 2023 I just keep coming back to this place every chance I get when I come to town. It is Beautiful. On one trail it’s almost 3 miles. Love it & will continue yo come back.

We enjoyed our walk; however, you will find suspicious people in the area. As well as HUGE ANTS! There is what looked like an abandoned shed near the beginning of the trail so please be careful! I do not recommend walking here alone. Also. We came across so many poison ivy signs so watch where you step, touch, and simply your surroundings! The river was nice. We did see a few people with fishing poles. We were surprised and with everything I stated above - we decided to leave and probably not come back.
